A classic and timeless album--a sound as sweet as honey, and as fresh as a new q-tip in your ear...

"Cardboard Castles is Watsky's second official studio album, following his 2009 self-titled debut. Rocking a stereotypical white-guy voice, he delivers rapid-fire verses heavy on the humor, with plenty of pop culture references and absolutely no fake gangster/wannabe drug-lord shenanigans. He's kind of like the bastard child of Eminem and MC Paul Barman."

"Like The Band? Like Jack White? Then you’ll love Needle, Feather and a Rope, a majestic alt-countrified horn-driven take on the universe and everything in it . . . the new album is a shot in the arm, with the primordial sounds of Leadbelly and Lomax filtered through New Orleans blues, Randy Newman pop, Rolling Stones rock and roll, grandiose indiefolk, and just about every other genre that has followed."
